In today’s video interview, I’m pleased to introduce you to Rosie Molinary!
Rosie is an author, speaker, and teacher. She works with women to empower them to embrace their authentic selves so they can live their passion and purpose and give their gifts to the world. Rosie is the author of two books, Beautiful You: A Daily Guide to Radical Self-Acceptance and Hijas Americanas: Beauty, Body Image, and Growing Up Latina.
In addition to writing, she teaches body image at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, offers workshops and retreats for women, and speaks on self-acceptance, body image, media literacy, the Latina experience, and social justice around the country.
In this interview, I talked with Rosie about radical self-acceptance, living on purpose, the myth of “effortless perfection”, and much more. Check it out:
Rosie’s books
I highly recommend both Rosie’s books if you’re interested in digging into the topics of self-acceptance and practical self-care.

This series is great! Check out Connie Sobczak and Elizabeth Scott. They founded an organization called The Body Positive about 20 years ago and are working with kids and adults to help them develop more peaceful relationships with their bodies. Elizabeth is a therapist and Connie recently published a book called Embody: Learning to love your unique body (and quiet that critical voice!)
I am so excited to have discovered this body positive yoga (and the like) movement. I think the work you ladies are doing to promote a positive body image is awesome and very encouraging to me. Thank you. Namaste.
