Most of us walk around chronically overstimulated.

Between the stressful pace of life, our constant exposure to artificial light (throwing off our circadian rhythms), and an absolutely insane amount of information coming at us at all times through our computers and phones, who’d be surprised that our nervous systems are all keyed up?

As a result, our sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system is on overdrive, which causes adrenal fatigue and heightened stress levels.

One of the many benefits of yoga is the ability to stimulate our parasympathetic (rest and relax) nervous system to lower stress levels, cortisol, and restore the kidneys.

This evening wind-down yoga practice will help to downregulate your nervous system. Try it before bedtime for your best night of sleep ever!
